To ensure the best possible class experience we ask that all dancers arrive to class on time and prepared. Please adhere to the following dress requirements
- Hair is to be pulled out of the dancer’s face.
- No jeans are allowed.
- All jewelry should be removed and put away before class starts.
- Dance shoes should not be worn outside of the dance studio. Please put on danceshoes after arriving at the studio and remove dance shoes before exiting the studio.
- Dancers at Action Day WVDC studios please put your child’s name in shoes andplace them in a dance bag for easy transportation.
Ballet 6 and under
We recommend dancers wear black leotards, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. (It is not a requirement at this age) All dancers must wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.
Ballet 7 and up
Black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes are required for this class. Hair must also be secured in a bun. Ballet skirts are optional.
Tap
Dance Attire or comfortable clothing. Pants may not touch the floor. Feet need to be visible. Tap shoes are required.
Jazz
Dance Attire or comfortable clothing. Jazz shoes are required.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Dance Attire or comfortable clothing. Jazz shoes or Lyrical shoes required.
Hip Hop
Comfortable clothing. No jeans or street shoes. Please have a clean pair of tennis shoes designated for dance class.
Acro
Dance Attire or comfortable form fitting clothing. Bare feet. Jazz shoes optional.
